Omagh Independent Advice Services provides a free, confidential and independent advice
We’re here to help
Omagh Independent Advice Services provides a free, confidential and independent advice, information and representational service on;
- Social Security Matters;
- Disability Benefits including the completion of benefit application forms;
- Debt/Money Advice;
- Tax Credits;
- Employment Rights
- Housing;
- Consumer problems
- Community Care;
- Provision of free representation at Social Security & Disability Appeal Tribunals and Industrial Tribunals;
- Provision of free representation in Bankruptcy/Insolvency cases;
- All other aspects of Social Welfare Law.
Our services can be accessed by telephone, text, email, drop-in, appointment, or in exceptional circumstances home-visit. Staff are also available to provide talks and information sessions.
The centre is open to the public Monday-Friday 9:00am-1:00pm and 2:00pm-5:00pm
Drop-in Sessions operate Tuesday and Thursday between 10am-12pm and 2pm – 4pm
The centre is located on the second floor of Omagh Community House, 2 Drumragh Avenue, Omagh.
It shares the building with a wide variety of other community and voluntary organizations which enables referrals, signposting and networking between groups.
Omagh Independent Advice Services are members of Advice NI, Law Centre NI and Housing Rights.
We are accredited with Investors in People and hold the NI Advice Quality Standard. We are also registered with the Office of the Immigration Services (OISC) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Omagh Independent Advice Services is a registered charity governed by a voluntary Management Committee which is elected at our Annual General Meeting (AGM). Members are drawn from a wide range of areas and include 3 Fermanagh and Omagh District Councillors.
